The American Hippotherapy Association or AHA Inc. is recognized as part of the international community that provides education, facilitates research, and promotes equine assisted therapy as an effective treatment strategy that improves the quality of life for individuals with disabilities. Their mission is to educate and promote excellence in the field of equine assisted therapy. The AHA website includes a list of certified therapists who have registered on the site. This list may not include all certified therapists in an area that use horses in the therapy process.
